About New Beginnings Christian Center

Our Mission

New Beginnings Christian Center is a 501 (c) (3) Christian church founded in 1999 by Rev. Dr. Cyronose D. Spicer & Rev. Catherine Conley Spicer. Our motto is "Reaching the world for Christ" (Matt. 28:18-20). We strive to provide an environment where everyone can feel LOVED, ACCEPTED, and FORGIVEN. At New Beginnings Christian Center, we are dedicated to nurturing your child's growth in a safe and loving environment. Our mission is to educate and instill values through a faith-based curriculum that fosters both spiritual and academic development. 

Our Pastor

Rev. Dr. Cyronose Spicer earned his first undergraduate degree in Geology from Virginia State College in 1975. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 1978 from The Evergreen College in Olympia, Washington. Attended Overlake Bible Institute in Kirkland, WA, California

Theological Seminary in Seattle, WA. and Memphis Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN.

A Ripley High School Graduate Class of 1973, Cheerleader and ’Most School Spirit” awardee, Miss Black Ripley, and Second Place Winner in 1976 Miss Black Tennessee pageant. Earned a BS Degree in Business Administration at TTU, Cookeville, TN in 1978. Earned a Master of Divinity degree in 2016 and Master of Education degree in Early Learning in 2018, both at Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA.
